JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As an educator at Strömsbro school, you will work with students from preschool to grade 6. Your mission is to support students who have difficulty functioning in larger teaching groups and who need a smaller context. You will work closely with the students in teaching and school situations, contributing to structure, safety, and study peace. The work is done in collaboration with colleagues and school management and may involve working in smaller groups or individually with students.

Your responsibilities include, among other things:

• supporting students with challenging or outwardly aggressive behaviors
• supporting students with special needs
• adapting teaching and working methods based on students' needs
• collaborating with mentors and teachers on planning and follow-up
• acting as a link between students, mentors, teachers, and other staff

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who has a secure approach in meeting students and enjoys working closely with both students and colleagues. You contribute to a functioning whole around the students' school day and collaborate selflessly with others.

This is an opportunity for you if you have one of the following:

• educational training with a focus on children and youth, such as child and leisure education, leisure pedagogy education, social pedagogy education, or support pedagogy education
• degree and certification as a teacher, preschool teacher, or teacher with further education as a special educator/special teacher
• experience working as a teacher or educator in primary school/preschool
• knowledge of and experience with digital tools
• good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both orally and in writing
